EJ Center Mural Unveiling Reception

Celebrate the new community-created mural at the South Baltimore EJ Center!

Join us at 4:30PM on Thursday, August 13 for a reception at the Curtis Bay Recreation Center where we’ll recognize the youth interns whose community engagement efforts, creativity, and commitment led to this moment. We’ll also hear from artist kolpeace and enjoy light refreshments before making our way across the street to view the stunning new mural.

The South Baltimore EJ Center is a community hub for housing and environmental justice education, research, and organizing in South Baltimore. We envision a space where citizen science takes place, where community organizations gather, where residents of South Baltimore turn for resources, and where the neighborhood comes together in times of challenge and celebration.
