CHERISH Our Communities Beyond the CHERISH Act

While the CHERISH Our Communities Act did not pass during the 2026 legislative session, there are many ways for us to CHERISH Our Communities! In addition to last week’s landfill hearing, there are upcoming permit hearings for the BRESCO Incinerator and a petroleum facility. Showing up in these hearings is a key way for residents and organizations in the Baltimore area and beyond to stand in solidarity with South Baltimore residents.
